SAN DIEGO (November 17, 2015) – Councilmember Alvarez has issued the following statement in response to City Council’s approval today regarding Item 330: Potable, Fire and Recycled Water Rate Adjustments and Cost of Service Study:

This proposal penalizes San Diegans that have been doing everything they can to conserve water during this period of drought and forces South County customers to pay unfair rates for recycled water.
