At the request of the Barrio Logan community, City Engineers evaluated the intersection of S. 32nd Street and Boston A venue for a 4-way stop sign. The engineers determined the location did not qualify for a 4-way stop sign and denied the request. Per Council Policy 200-08, the Barrio Logan Community Planning Group voted to support the installation of a 4-way stop sign during their June 15, 2016, meeting using the City's alternative process as stated in Council Policy. As such, I am respectfully requesting all-way stop signs to be installed in the intersection of 32nd Street and Boston Avenue in Barrio Logan. Attached please find a support letter from the planning group.
